I'm voting for Barack Obama...

......Because hope is healthier than fear. Because a Supreme Court that applies the intentions of the framers of Constitution is better than a Supreme Court that manufactures partisan decisions. Because historically the economy has fared better in Democrats' hands. Because I believe that women should be payed the same as men for the same job. Because I believe that animals should be treasured by humans, not shot from planes and tested on in cruel and inhumane ways. Because I believe we are only as healthy as the air we breathe. Because I don't think Native American tribes should be relocated to nuclear waste sites. Because I don't think veterans should end up homeless or be used as a political tool. Because I believe that the rest of the world matters just as much as America does. Because I believe that the only "un-American" people in this country are the ones who think they are the only "pro-America" ones. Because I don't find the subject of war or death or rape humorous. Because I believe that a history of intellectual curiosity is the best experience a President can have. Because I believe Obama has learned from his shortcomings while McCain has tried to hide his behind the cloak of "POW". Because Obama and Biden have read the Constitution and McCain and Palin either haven't or didn't understand it. Because I would like to live in "America, the Beautiful" not "America, the all-powerful military machine". Because McCain says he will reach across the aisle, but has divided the electorate with lies and ugly tactics, while Obama has advisors from both parties and is already reaching across the aisle. Because I don't believe that all gays, Arabs, Muslims, single parents, atheists, peace-lovers, animal rights activists, intellectuals and liberals are a danger to this country. Because Obama has been a gentleman and hasn't used all the dirt in McCain's past against him. Because I believe that Obama is a kind man and I can't say the same for McCain. Because I believe in living by "the power of our example" and not "the example of our power".

There's an old adage which states that, if you have a heart, you'll be a Democrat, and if you have a brain, you'll be a Republican. We've seldom had a candidate that had both a heart and a brain. In fact, the past eight years we've had a President who has neither a heart nor a brain and it's possible McCain has neither, as well. Luckily for America in 2008, we have another candidate who has a heart, a brain, is an inspiration to Americans and who will work to restore our standing throughout the world. That man is Barack Obama.

"In my heart I know you didn't come here just for me, you came here because you believe in what this country can be. In the face of war, you believe there can be peace. In the face of despair, you believe there can be hope. In the face of a politics that's shut you out, that's told you to settle, that's divided us for too long, you believe we can be one people, reaching for what's possible, building that more perfect union." ~ Barack Obama

What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Then you need to stop going to McCain/Palin rallies.  It's just not healthy for your psyche.

I've voted for Obama because he has Integrity and Intelligence and cares about people not just him self .

I could not vote for McCain it is to hard to know what his real views even are they have changed to many times . Ever since he wanted to be president he has even changed . voting with bush 90 percent of time .he thought our economy  was strong then what was a couple days till he says ooops our economy in crisis . very scarry he hadnt a clue . then add Palin and this smear campaign they have ran .then add palins Ethics Investigation and she abused her power in ofice already .

anyway it was a easy choice for me to vote Obama .

If you believe this then why is there a case pending before Supreme Court because Obama won't show his credentials?

ALso why didn't he give so many no votes on judges to fill vacant seats while he was in the Senate?

The answer to the first is because crazy people are allowed to file lawsuits, too.  The second question you ask is rather unintelligibly phrased, so I'm not sure what you're asking.  For that matter....Why did McCain seal all the Vietnam records and the files on the car crash?  Why did McCain show up less than a guy in a coma?

Rhetorical questions and inuendo can be fun, but it's not how I decide my vote.  Too bad that's how you seem to decide yours.  I find facts more helpful.
